Kylie

Owner/Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! I’m Kylie. I am nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state certified in Pennsylvania and Maryland. I earned my bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University (2017) and my master's degree from Towson University (2019). I have worked in public schools for a majority of my career.

I also briefly worked at a private practice in Maryland. I have worked with children and adults ages 15 months to 78 years old. My clinical interests and specialties are articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and childhood language disorders. I also have experience treating fluency disorders, social communication disorders, and adults that have experienced Traumatic Brain Injury or strokes.

Aside from being a speech-language pathologist, I am a wife of a blueberry farmer and a mother of two boys! I enjoy spontaneous adventures and traveling, especially to warm places, exercising, and being with my family and friends.

Fun Facts: You’ll almost always catch me wearing sunglasses on my head. I worked at a bowling alley hosting birthday parties for 11 years while going to college and graduate school full time.

What Makes us Berry Sweet?

I am the wife of a blueberry farmer! My husband owns a blueberry farm in Red Lion, PA called Blueberry Hill. I do a lot of his marketing, social media, and have an active role in planning events, hiring, and creating an overall good customer experience. I wanted to create my own private practice as an extension of Blueberry Hill.

As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to be in private practice. In a similar way that I am creating an enhanced customer experience at Blueberry Hill, I want to carry that over to my private practice and create a new, balanced life for my own family and for the families of my clients.

By choosing Berry Sweet Therapy Services as your child's speech and/or occupational therapy provider, you are allowing us the flexibility to create an individualized treatment plan for your child and their needs with no decisions influenced by another governing body. You are choosing a dedicated team with years of experience and expertise!

Hi, I'm Allie B., I earned my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University in 2021. I chose this field because I love working with kids and wanted a career that allows me to support students in a more individualized setting. Being an SLP gives me the opportunity to work directly with both students and their families, which is something I truly value.

My favorite populations to work with are children with articulation and phonological disorders, as well as those developing early language skills. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking on various at-home projects.

In addition to treating articulation and language disorders, I enjoy working with non-verbal or minimally
verbal children to help them find a way to better communicate with others. I enjoy private practice because of the relationships I get to build with families and being able to provide support and strategies for family members.

I have a 4 year old grandson named Hayden, who has taught me a lot about how to play with the younger children. He has a great imagination and has expanded my world (and my heart). In my spare time, I love being with my family, friends,
